In April 2016, the Center hosted Professor Jan Willis for a public talk and retreat at Tibet House. The topic of Friday’s public talk was Buddhism and social justice, during which Professor also shared stories about her own life. During the weekend retreat, she led students in a recitation of Shantideva’s Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, as well as commentary, discussion and a Q&A afterward.

Audio of Friday’s public talk is available on Soundcloud. Photos of the retreat can be found on our Facebook page. The weekend teachings were not recorded in order to preserve a retreat setting for participants.
