Chotrul Duchen:
Blessing the Sea, Offering to the Sea Beings and Pretas, Dedication of Merit, Rejoicing!

Sunday, March 12 from 3pm to 4:30pm
at Pier 15

On Chotrul Duchen (Day of Miracles), the Buddha, by virtuous display of miraculous abilities, awed those about him, opening their minds and hearts to the Dharma and enabling them to achieve ultimate happiness. In honor of this brilliant emanation of compassion, we too will share the power of the Dharma with the suffering animals and beings in the lower realms. Join us in this beautiful celebration of the buddha nature within all sentient beings! We will meet at Pier 15 to pour the blessed water in the river and dedicate extensively all the merits generated during Monlam.

Location:

Pier 15

Directions: We’ll meet at the very end of the esplanade.

Subway Transportation: Wall Street on the 2 and 3 lines, broad street on the J and Z lines, Wall Street on the 4 and 5 lines and Rector Street on the R and W lines are all within walking distance from Pier 15.
