New Tuesday Meditation: Meditating with Delight (not because we have to)

Tuesdays, September 5 and 12 from 7:00pm-8:30pm
at Jewel Heart Center

When it comes to training our mind through meditation, we are prone to postponing it to a tomorrow that rarely comes. We tell ourselves we have lots of other things to do first, or we’re just too tired. There is nothing new about this — many Buddhist teachings address these obstacles to meditation practice and offer antidotes. In these two Tuesday meditations, we’ll contemplate a few of these antidotes to inspire and pump up our practice.

This series incorporates advice and practices to use between the two sessions (and after). It is most beneficial to attend both, but also possible to attend individual sessions.

Dates, Time, and Topics:

Tuesdays from 7 to 8:30pm:

September 5: I’ll meditate today (antidotes to procrastination)
September 12: I can meditate! (antidotes to discouragement)
