New Tuesday Meditation: Seeing the Glass Half Full (or Even Completely Full)

November 28, December 5 and 19 from 7pm to 8:30pm
at Jewel Heart Center

Our next meditation series will start on Tuesday, November 28 and will expand on Thanksgiving’s theme of gratitude.

We all have problems: financial problems, getting old, experiencing loss. Such is life! It’s very easy to get stuck looking only at what goes wrong, suffering anxiety, or falling into depression, but why dwell on these? The natural spaciousness of our minds is open to peace, happiness, and joy. This new series provides tools to rewire our minds, developing gratitude for our infinite potential. According to science, gratitude is a powerful boost to happiness and health, and according to Buddhism, it’s powerful fuel for our spiritual practice.

This series incorporates advice and practices to use between sessions, and we’ll check in on our experiences each week. It is most beneficial to attend the entire series, although it’s also possible to attend individual sessions.
